Children from everywhere have been visiting Disneyland since its opening in 1955. Disneyland was the greatest creation of Walt Disney. Walt Disney is the famous animator who created characters such as Micky Mouse and Donald Duck. He was born in Chicago in 1901. He was one of five children and grew up in a farm in Missouri. His first characters were farm animals. In 1920, he worked for an advertising company to make cartoon advertisement. Then, he went to Hollywood in 1923. He started his company with his brother Roy Disney. In 1928, he created his most famous cartoon character, Micky Mouse. He died at the age of 65 years in 1966. He couldn't see the opening of Disney World in Florida in 1971, but his dreams live on.
